Kicker Wake Tower Speakers
Tower speakers are what let a surfer 30 feet behind the boat hear the music, and they're the most visible upgrade on any wake or ski boat. As South Florida's Kicker marine boat speaker specialist, we carry the full Kicker KMFC tower line and help riders choose the right size for their boat and amp.
The Kicker KMFC lineup
- KMFC65 6.5" tower speakers: a flat-mount coaxial with a 3/4" PEI tweeter, 7-color LED and adjustable 0°/5°/10° inserts. Kicker recommends 65W RMS. The best first tower upgrade. Shop 6.5" tower speakers.
- KMFC8 8" tower speakers: more cone area and midbass for ski boats and smaller wake boats. Also available in white. Shop 8" tower speakers.
- KMFC9 9" horn-loaded (HLCD) towers: titanium-dome compression drivers, 92 dB sensitivity, 150–300W RMS. Fits flat factory hardpoints with 2.5" bolt spacing.
- KMFC11 11" HLCD towers: Kicker's largest, for maximum volume and range behind full-size surf boats. Shop 9"+ tower speakers.
How to choose a size
- Check your tower mounts. Flat-mount cans suit flat surfaces and bimini frames. The HLCD models are designed for flat hardpoints with 2.5" bolt spacing.
- Match your amp. The 6.5" towers run well on a KMA360.4. The 9" and 11" HLCD towers want 150–300W RMS each, so plan a dedicated amp or bridged channels.
- Think about distance. Horn-loaded compression drivers project vocals farther behind the boat, which is the main reason to step up to the 9" or 11".
Our detailed post on sizing KMFC tower speakers for a wake boat walks through each option.
Lighting
Every KMFC includes 7-color LED grilles. Add a Kicker LED controller such as the KMLC for more colors and modes, synced with LED cockpit speakers like the KM654L.

FAQ
Do tower speakers need an amp? Yes. Head units can't drive tower speakers to useful volume behind a boat.
Is 6.5" enough? For cruising and wakeboarding at moderate range, yes. Surfers far behind a loud boat benefit from 9" or 11" horn-loaded towers.
Will they fit my tower? Check your mounting surface and bolt spacing against each product page before ordering, or send us photos.
